in an atmosphere that is not assaultive to the senses, but rather fosters connections with oneself, one’s food, and one’s peers.  And it actually improves education?  What a novel, and rewarding, idea.  I immediately propose that this plan become effective at all higher institutions as well.  Bagels and coffee for all!

I haven’t looked into Obama’s plans for the education system yet, but I’m sincerely hoping he does something about NCLB.  Although its initial premise was laudable–I do give W. credit once in awhile–it was ill-planned and executed without thought to the diversity of students in our schools.  I see the effects of this every week [...]

Thankfully

I don’t have to look into housing, school, and employment in Canada.  For the first time in 8 years I am excited to think about the future and what our country will accomplish, starting with the redemption of our name and image in the world.  Have enough of the established bully-boys been displaced?  We’ll see.
